Needs Analysis
I reviewed job descriptions, legislation (IDEA, ESSA, FERPA), and client-provided training goals. Discussions with subject matter experts (SMEs) identified skill gaps—particularly in confidentiality, ethical decision-making, and collaboration.
Content Development
I created structured, easy-to-navigate learning sequences, breaking down complex legislative language into plain English and adding real-world examples.
Scenario-Based Learning
I developed six interactive ethical dilemma scenarios simulating situations paraprofessionals encounter, such as confidentiality breaches, conflict of interest, and professional boundaries on social media. Each scenario included immediate feedback to reinforce correct behaviors.
